Thank you for your positive feedback! We're delighted you've enjoyed our inclusive culture, team events, commission structure, and flexible working arrangements. We appreciate your candid feedback about resource/recognition for smaller sales teams - we are actively working on this at the moment to ensure our B2B teams have everything they need to succeed. Thanks Alys Peart Chief of Staff

Pros

- The team is young and most people are friendly and supportive - Spacious office, cool events - If you withstand competition with ~100 other prople and work long and hard enough, you might be able to break out of customer support

Cons

- Poorly optimised workload, high expectations and KPIs - Low pay for the amount of responsibility and extra work. No medical, no dental, no bonuses (at the time when I left) - I worked under a manager who wasn't trained for the job and couldn't help with most work-related or personal issues (or sometimes refused to), which combined with massive workload led me to complete burnout. OEV didn't have an problem with this which is why I'm giving such a low rating - The "unlimited" PTO and other leave is given or refused with no explanation - Overall I'd recommend this job if you want to work among young friendly people. I wouldn't recommend this job if you're looking for anything else, like work-life balance and career opportunities

Thank you for your feedback on your time with us. I'm sorry to hear that we haven't lived up to your hopes and understand that you have been able to provide detail within your exit interview. We absolutely take the care of our Customer Operations team seriously and value all our members as being the voice of Octopus to our customers. As a fast growing business it's sometimes hard to keep pace as we develop and promote our talent, but you may know we have invested recently in the L&D Team, bringing in an expert to help us train all our leads and managers to ensure they can deliver the right levels of support for the teams. We have also separated Operational and People management to ensure we understand both individual needs as well as being able to set appropriate KPIs and workloads. Wishing you well with your next role, Fern Interim COO
