Struggling company. No path to profitability or IPO
Pros
The product is competitive. It's highly ranked by Gartner, and the overall market for SSE/SASE is a good one to be in.
Cons
- Big problem with churn. Company has likely peaked at current ARR level - Stability and product quality is questionable in big deployments - Typically lose to bigger, publicly traded competitors - Not much differentiation in the product that customers care about - Solution is complex and not suited for smaller companies - Culture has taken a nosedive recently. Not a fun place to work. - Repeated rounds of layoffs and micromanagement of expenses point to profitability issues - Lack of understanding of sales and GTM from CEO down - No IPO on the horizon. Company issues "RSUs" which are not vested until a liquidity event (you lose them all if you exit the company).
