You can't fit a square peg in a round hole

Pros

Great people to work with other than the outsourcing departments to different non-English countries. Flexible work environment with increasingly better technology. Reputation within the industry.

Cons

MetLife try's to make a multi-faceted company fit into a narrow rabbit hole. They rest on the laurels of the MetLife brand and pay well below average, and the once generous bonuses are now gone. The corporate management is a political bull ring.

Not a good place to work

Pros

Pay and benefits were good. Also enjoyed the casual work environment

Cons

work load which makes work-life balance nearly impossible/ Training was not as promised. You work over-time to keep up with your case load however overtime is not encouraged by managers. The expectations of your daily work load is not realistic. A very punitive corporate culture. Many of the managers bully employees.
