Pros

The culture is great. Everyone at Merge is genuinely kind and supportive, which makes coming into the office every day enjoyable. There are constant opportunities to learn. The work is challenging and you’re regularly exposed to new problems and technologies. The fast-paced environment keeps things interesting and helps you grow quickly.

Cons

As a startup, the hours can sometimes be longer than a normal 9-5. The fast pace means priorities can shift often, which can occasionally make planning and project timelines harder to manage.

Pros

Merge provides a unique opportunity for career development and learning on the job. Initiative and ownership are celebrated, and help to fuel your career trajectory within the company, and beyond. In your day to day, coworkers are supportive and teamwork is a strong part of the culture, which makes collaboration easy.

Cons

The company is growing quickly, which means priorities and projects can evolve rapidly. This can be exciting for people who enjoy a dynamic environment, but it may feel challenging for those who prefer a role with very stable responsibilities. If you’re looking for a position where the scope rarely changes, this may not be the best fit.

Pros

The product itself is technically interesting. Unified APIs require thinking deeply about data modeling, normalization across wildly different platforms, and maintaining reliability at scale. The scope of integrations is massive. Merge covers eight different categories of business tools. That breadth means teams get exposure to a wide range of SaaS ecosystems and domains. Growth-stage energy. Merge is still scaling, which means individuals can have outsized impact. There's less bureaucracy and more opportunity to shape how things are built. The customer base is strong. Merge works with well-known companies across industries, which means the problems you're solving are real and the feedback loop is tight. You can see your work making a difference for actual users pretty quickly. The team is sharp. Genuinely brilliant people who enjoy what they do. The AI and agentic tooling space is a tailwind, Merge is well positioned. Working on products like the Agent Handler means you're building at the frontier of how AI systems connect to existing business tools.

Cons

You will be expected to stretch your capacity when the team needs it. Agile teams mean there is little slack in bandwidth.
