Pros

Training with learning specialist Office setting is clean and safe

Cons

Lack of communication and organisational skills: It is tedious when you get last minute schedules and meetings without notice. (It would have been a 24 hour time frame but no unfortunately). I experienced these positive communications and majority of the companies I have worked with always tell their situation early. A constant excuse I hear all the time: legislation. So you expect me to always running around guessing the time whilst professionally handling customers? Poor management: I have been told by my manager to fix my personality of perfectionism. Didn’t know how to respond to that statement. Scratching my head thinking: You are dealing with customers finances. Poor behaviour from management. Privacy policy: I hate when managers ask you to turn your camera on. Especially when the managers decided to record you without permission, assuming that everyone is fine with recording. It is not ok. It feels like I have been forced to do it.

MGTI : The IT function for Marsh McLennan is a Political Nightmare!

Pros

MGTI management are not very bright or hard working so you aren't expected to deliver groundbreaking work! You're rewarded for being made to feel like the most absolutely worthless stomping tier of a mediocre workplace 40 hours a week

Cons

MGTI Cares more about image than reality. Leadership doesn't trust themselves to speak off the cuff, always repeating the same speaking points and lots of jargon and corporate speak. Will praise you for your work but you'll never see it reflected in compensation. Talks a great talk but has nothing to back anything up. Very disorganized at the top and out of touch with the world, no clear vision no matter what they tell themselves. Executives and even middle management are very comfortable in their own bubble and echo chamber. They are happy to live in their own reality and sadly think other people actually agree with them. Horribly poor development of their managers and at the end of the day, it's the regular worker who suffers. Have lost many many talented and passionate people over the last 2 years but management is oblivious. They keep people who lack the skill and capability to manage because nobody wants to be a bad guy in front of other colleagues. Not an inspiring place to work, you won't grow or gain any valuable experience. Most of your coworkers will be older than you, lots of people have long tenures here. They are behind the market in everything they do, from the business they sell to the way they treat their employees. Their total rewards philosophy is to be average relative to the market and their peers. Tells you all you need to know about what type of coworkers you'll likely be working with and what they prioritize as a company. Benefits are expensive but poor coverage, total compensation is a joke, you'll never meet inflation, the HQ in NYC is like a time capsule from the early 2000s. Highly toxic culture, too much red tape and corporate politics, Management doesn't listen to employee. Not much growth area in IT, no clear path for promotion. High turnover rate, management fails to identify why colleagues leave and fail to retain talent. Lack of bonus when working for MGTI. MGTI is an absolutely miserable place to work at!
