Pros

Good Pay. Good opportunities. Good canteen. Good Bonuses. Listening Leadership. Great work/life balance.

Cons

In former JLT India teams are structured more or less in an independent island manner. And that island is managed by the local Leader. The only thing that is taken care of in electing the local leaders is their ability to say yes to management only. Some of these leaders turn out to be undeserving people running the crowd on an island like Kings. They have powers like taking care of Leave applications (overriding them whenever required), Communication to clients about individuals, Decisions regarding the distribution of various facilities/resources among individuals. Now as we all know that with power there should always come responsibilities to manage out a balance. However too much and almost unchecked power in the wrong hands can lead to corruption and immoral indulgences. If you carefully go through earlier reviews on JLT India, you would have seen certain reviews about a Manager in Law team and his indulgences. Unfortunately, he is not the only case where a manager of an island has taken an individual of a particular gender for a ride. It is a disease that had spread itself into many teams. You can frequently notice managers moving along only with few selected female individuals. And then out of nowhere, those selected female individuals start getting almost out of turn facilities / Promotions, etc. This kind of behavior starts making team environments toxic and puts other female members of the team in an uncomfortable position, as they keep wondering if there is a fair way for them to grow professionally or not. JLT India on its part has always avoided this matter; otherwise so many reviews pointing to a possible conflict of interest must have triggered at least a fair internal investigation. And this neglect has acted as a boost for the kings/managers of other teams. JLT India has always been a paymaster taking extra care of its employees. However, a small act of taking conferences of Managers and explaining to them the importance of spending their money out of bounds of office to fulfill their desires might lead to a healthy environment inside the teams that may produce great results. In case Managers may not be interested in spending their money, offering them reimbursement for their unfulfilled desires might be helpful too. JLT India used to have many good things; however, this one negligence can impact its foundation.

Pros

Flexible work hours, some co-workers were amazing. Some just want you out.

Cons

Poor culture, always walking on eggshells and it feels like they are looking for you to fail. No praise for the accomplishments. If you are a Producer then you get everything handed to you on a silver platter.
