Pros

teams in store do have a strong team feel as we have to look out for each other to survive. They will bring you in at a good rate if you have the proper exp.

Cons

worst benefits out there, yes worse then walmarts. You can buy health care on your own for less then you get it through the company. Company does not give cost of living increases. Annual pay increases are very poor as well you may come in good but you don't move up much from there. We have hourly associates in our building that have only moved up $1.50 in 7 years of service. Some new hires make more then them.

Pros

You don't have to stay as late when closing as you do with other retail employers. The management is nice to their employees and treat them fair.

Cons

They do not train you and you get very little feedback. They just have a tendency for throwing employess in and expecting them to know how to do everything. For a lot of people, this is their first time working and retail and do not know what to do. They expect everyone to have experience and are upset when they do not understand how to do something.

Pros

The people are what make the company tick. Because of the overwhelming amount of time you work, friendships with your coworkers are the upside to the job.

Cons

The salaries are a joke. You work extremely long hours, weekends, holidays and unless you are an entry level hourly employee you don't get paid for that time. The company's philosophy is to do more with less. If the job takes 3 people to do, one will suffice. In this instance since you are the sole person responsible for a project that requires multiple people to accomplish you will work your hardest not to be deemed a failure. You do so as you have no one else to back you up and say that the workload is too much.
