      Pros

      I have been with the company for 5 years. MAPFRE values each employee and what each person brings to the company for success. There is a vast amount of opportunity to grow within the company within the many different departments. I have earned designations with the company paid tuition, one of the many benefits the company offers.

      Cons

      Would like the ability to work from home as some companies are transitioning to. As the technology becomes available, I am sure this will be a transition MAPFRE will make. I know some departments have already began implementing this.

      Pros

      You can vent with co workers because they all hate their lives as much as you do. Floating holidays? That's all I can come up with

      Cons

      Systems are the absolute worst, management souks have to know how to do your job before managing you, beef up staffing because the workload expectations are ridiculous unless you want to live at your desk after hours, get a clue. Don't do it

      It's unfortunate your experience hasn't been positive. Perhaps a conversation with your manager and/or HR is a good idea to discuss your concerns. We encourage all employees to share their experiences with their managers, HR and/or on Glassdoor. Often it's primarily the negative opinions that are shared. We are excited to see that those with more positive experiences are sharing as well!

      Pros

      Mapfre is a company that is willing to accommodate its employees. As a father of a child with a medical condition, I constantly have to call out our ask to leave early with little or no warning. My supervisors have always been understanding. If you have scheduled an appointment, you can even make up all or some of the time so you don't have to use up your sick/vacation time. They also recently let the employees vote on how we want the company to recognize/award employees that have been here for a milestone amount of years, so, that we could pick something we would enjoy.

      Cons

      I do believe the company should review/change it's policy of barring any family members of current employees from applying for a job opening.
