Senior leadership needs to stop trying to imitate their success stories from Spain in the USA (the Spanish and US insurance markets are very, very, very much different!) Not sure if everyone in the company really knows and follows the corporate mantras/beliefs that come from Spain Expense problems. More specifically, the IT department seems to be a perennial bottleneck for every major project

Systems are horrible - complicated and frustrating. Spanish corporation - they implemented their system over the US system instead of investing the money to create a better system. IT works endlessly trying to maintain it but for the West Coast office it is still a nightmare. Management on WC is not good - they appear to be hiding the real issues from the East Coast office and the Spanish super management. A lot of good adjusters have left after getting frustrated and they are slow to replace people - which gives the rest of the adjusters an even greater workload. Pay is also lower than a lot of other companies and they do not do a good job of promoting from within.
