Pros

Bi-Weekly Pay, PTO, Co-Workers, Immediate managers

Cons

This is a glorified call center position. You are expected to handle heavy call volume while still managing to work your own claims. This is leads to claims sitting for days not being touched because you are too busy answering back to back calls. This leads to MORE calls from angry customers, upset that they haven't heard from anyone about their claim. Don't worry, Mapfre doesn't care-as long as the phones are answered. This is the most unorganized, inefficient way of claims handling I have ever experienced. I won't start on the training and the feeling of being thrown into the wilderness with no survival tools. No concise knowledge base...the list goes on.
