      A check. Point blank period. benefits suck more each day but working here is better than not having a job.

      Cons

      micromanagement at its finest. a shame how they closed up so much here out west. backstabbing managers, kiss-ups only thrive. sad state of affairs. ive been with this company for 13 years and they seem ready to boot me out the door. decent raises stop coming once they feel you're "trapped" for lack of a better term. they pay young people fresh out of school, who will probably leave them after a couple of years, then look at the aging workforce such as myself and figure out ways to eradicate us slowly but surely. im forced to compromise my morals everyday to meet goals

      liberty mutual is a company that seems to think it's employees will believe any iine that is fed to them

      Pros

      good place to gain experience for career in insurance and the health benefits and 401 match are a plus, however, as much as Liberty touts the premise that it does not want employee turnover, their actions say otherwise. Best to utilize this company for experience, then move on to a company which values their employees. Very low percentage of long term sales reps, and this occurs for a reason.

      management seems to have no basic understanding of sales environment has lack of respect for employees

      Pros

      There are good growth opportunuties given the fact that the company is very heterogenous. The compensation benefits are at par with market and Liberty Mutual motivates employees for advancement at both personal and career level. The teams are not huge, are right sized, there is good growth opportunity in every project.

      Cons

      The close culture nature of small companies is not prevalent.
