Pros

Set hours 8:30 am - 5pm. Weekends off. No overtime required. One hour lunch. Pension and 401k. Great benefits. Annual Bonus based on performance. Vacation Package.

Cons

Basically I wished I never quit my previous job. My Manager was not friendly at all. All the co-workers complained about the work environment and even spent our hour lunch complaining from Day 1. If I had I talked to the employees before accepting the position I would have never taken the job. If your sick you have to call in advance 24 hours otherwise you will get a mark in your file. After 3 total you get terminated. No down time...basically a work horse from the time you start work until the end of the day. Maybe other offices within Liberty Mutual are more geered at employee morale.

Pros

If you begin as a Claims Specialist 1, you automatically acrue 1.5/mo from January through October plus four floating holidays and seven regular holidays. A lot of emphasis on work/life balance.

Cons

If you are female, it can sometimes feel like the "boys club". Upper management is very removed and when they visit your office will not interact with you at all. Processes constantly change without notice and oftentimes the changes appear to be frivilous. The company has become very obsessed with "meeting numbers" rather than setting realistic goals for their employees.
