Great Company with a long history (founded in 1912) of stability and a reputation for caring about employees and customers, Pays well.

Cons

No amount of longevity or loyalty matters when you become an anonymous headcount on a spreadsheet. They will cut you and not look back- dumping long-time talent in favor of young job-hoppers who only cost the company more in acquisition costs than it would to keep a long-time employee(s)! The PEOPLE don't matter at all. They are continuing to lay off thousands of people in waves. If you are in a Tech profession- you are wanted by LM. Whatever this "transformation" is they are touting surely must lean towards Tech, considering how many Tech roles they have posted.

Beware of Liberty Mutual lies

Worked there 8 years, learned a lot, moved on.

Cons

Beware they advertise “Remote” position then tell you that you are required to work in the office, they also advertise one base salary and then disclose it’s actually significantly less. I’ve been in the industry for several years and they’re not what they used to be. Go in with your eyes open.
