Pros

Decent Benefits, Decent Pay, Nice Building Pre-Covid, work from home

Cons

Lack of diversity in hiring overall - management defends their decision by stating via email "no qualified people of color were PRESENTED to him." Management receives virtually no leadership training that is put into practice and is never held accountable - I've witnessed many acts of intimidation throughout my years here in the open in the office and via email. Turn over rate is abnormally high with over half of the department quitting each year - new hires frequently quit in training and in nesting period. There is no work-life balance - if you're not inducted in your own claims, you will be inundated with others either due to the massive turnover or lack of training of associates. You may develop many health problems and disorders at this job. Many take leaves or quit abruptly. You are measured on a survey sent to customers on all claims that do not mention your name, but instead rate the company. Staff has been changing the emails and putting in fake emails for years to avoid bad surveys with management fully aware, but unconcerned as it made the department look good. Many have been fired due to the surveys based on false data of top performers. Difficult to promote and you will find yourself stuck. Cut-throat environment and job insecurity from top to bottom

Pros

-Great training program (highly respected in the industry and very informative) -Able to work from home 50% of the time (pre-COVID)

Cons

-Expected to work 10-12 hour days, 5-6 days a week -Socially shunned for using vacation time -Rarely got help with your caseload even if you asked your team or manager -Highly competitive as the rules/guidelines to get promoted were very secretive -Expected to do extracurricular activities (special projects, be on a holiday committee, etc) to be promoted -Too much time away from our desks (huddles, 1 on 1, skip level meetings, RMDs, etc)

Pros

Benefits are okay, high deductibles, though. $1500 for individual. Sometimes free lunches. Jobs through COVID although they are increasing goals to where people cannot hit it so they dont have to pay us.

Cons

Everything. Run far. Management is garbage and blame you for their unfair treatment.
