It is okay if you are okay with mediocrity
Pros
If you don't care much about doing a great job, helping others, engaging in meaningful work, or accomplishing tangible tasks, it can be a great place to simply pick up a paycheck. I have observed many individuals who have held positions for 20-plus years, surviving in their roles by prioritizing their own survival rather than striving for achievement. They also exhibit a lack of concern or frustration with mediocrity, showing indifference when we fail to meet client expectations, and so on. While not everyone in the workplace is like this, there are unfortunately too many who fit this description. In my personal experience, when one of these individuals became my manager, I chose to leave.
Cons
Big company, before the split, it was very difficult to communicate and get things done internally. It was easier working with outside vendors.
