Pros

They were ok with us getting there earlier or later than schedule time. Overtime was descent. PLB was 2.7 hours per week. The company was military friendly and accommodated my military schedule.

Cons

Some employees were rude and nasty, especially the ones who were with the company for a long time. The rumors were that the manager didn't like to promote from within so I left because I didn't want to be in a low position for a long time. The pay was very low.

Pros

- The offices and labs are state of the art - Some colleages were supportive - Agri Campus is very nice place to work - Lots of training opportunities.

Cons

- You are left to figure everything out by yourself and management are constantly in back to back meetings - Harrogate Covance dictate everything over conference calls - HR will issue you security passes and tell you everything is fine without actually checking if you you have cleared the background check (carried out by 3rd party company) - Employment was terminated after 6 weeks. I was accused of lying on my application by the head of operations and HR in Harrogate (whom I'd never met). - They call security when they fire you and escort you out like a criminal - If you have a negative opinion regarding any aspect of the company you will be under suspicion. Certain colleages will report your personal opinions to management. - You will be referred to as an 'asset' with no regard for you being a human being. - Very low team morale

Pros

Working here was an interesting experience, as I feel my work ethic was challenged; your day is dependent on when samples are received and how quickly they can be can processed accurately. So if you enjoy managing yourself in to utilize your time efficiently this is for you, this includes all types of breaks and your personal life if you are working nights/evenings. As the majority of the workflow comes during these times.

Cons

Persons who have worked there for over five years, they can be a little bitter about you not jumping into your job duties as fast you can. Obvious discord between days and night shifts, and overtime as business requires equates to you having overtime consistently.
