There are some good people and some flexibility in schedule.

Cons

No work life balance. Managers play favorites, especially to those who try to make others look bad to advance themselves. Managers don't really understand the science and interested in money not quality.

Great people and flexible schedules

Cons

Poor work life balance, awful changes to benefits. The preclinical side of the business is losing people faster than it can replace them and therefore people that are still at the company are not able to use their PTO in order to get work done. The company also needs to put some money towards updating their technology; we are less effective as a company because we don't have the computer systems to support the type of work we do.

Old fashioned, no real leadership for changing convoluted processes. I suspect competition from China will hard them hard in the not to distant future
