Pros

Adequate salary; benefits are in-line with other companies

Cons

Company desperately trying to figure out what it wants to be, which leads to turmoil. The latest headlong lurch is to become a consultancy. Very easy to feel disconnected from anything beyond your immediate work group. Appears to have inherited the ageist tendencies of its parent, IBM. New-collar and offshore workers welcome. Experienced, domestic workers, folks-not so much.

Pros

It is a flexible working environment and the new employee paid well.

Cons

1. No project was assigned for more than six months and so I resigned. 2. I Feel like school is constantly forcing for certification every month, but no project to apply those skills. 3. Management mindset is poor with skill development. You are recruited for one domain as an expert and since you are on the bench, do what we asked you to do whether you like it or not. There is a broader chance to forget everything or lose interest. 4. No job satisfaction.

Pros

In my case, I’ve found a spot with some interesting challenges and the flexibility I need to achieve an acceptable work/life balance.

Cons

Compensation. Salary adjustments while Kyndryl was part of IBM were minuscule and currently it appears that only those who have an offer for a new job are offered a raise in hopes they’ll stay. Attrition is extremely high, though I think that’s true in most shops these days. Seem to have trouble attracting talent. Tons of open positions resulting in gaps in capabilities. It feels like they took every awful process from IBM and cloned it. It’s a mess with no formal feedback channel to suggest improvements and/or express frustrations.
