Working at Kraken is what life should feel like! Everyone is excited to work every day and there is an overwhelmingly positive feeling towards work! You have loads of autonomy to start contributing and initiating things from the get go, and your opinions are valued at all levels of seniority and tenure! Flexibility is part of life here and there are no arbitrary times/requirements around how you work, taking off all the pressure that can be associated with working different hours to your colleagues. This is the first place I've worked at that I don't feel the hierarchy, everyone is just kind of keen to build cool things and welcome all contributions Also, there are some incredible minds here! A host of the textbooks I study and conference talks I've learnt from stem from the Engineers that are building Kraken and that's mad to think about. This is what I imagine Google felt like in its hay-day!
