Pros

Getting the opportunity to meet some nice people - fellow colleagues and some customers.

Cons

Stressful environment, often left serving at till alone for most of the day, poor rotation of tasks amongst all staff, certain staff members given special treatment. Zero compassion from higher management if any bullying behaviour occurs - waste of time reporting further as you get ignored! No such thing as the “first class training” they claim in job adverts. Certain people who have been a long time in the company talk down to you as if you’re stupid if you get something wrong , also humiliate and intimidate you, follow you around and question what you’re doing! No health and safety policies - no manual handling training given. I would have given 0 stars if it had been an option. Sunday pay not great - time and 1/3. No extra pay for bank holidays or overtime.
