Pros

There are some genuinely good people that work here. You won't be stabbed in the back, yelled at, or berated ever. People come together to solve problems and work on really difficult projects.

Cons

If you are in your mid career stage and you are looking to make the jump to management, you are out of luck here. Managers tend to get promoted to wherever they feel comfortable and then sit there for 10-20 years, except if the CEO personally likes you - then you have your pick of whatever job you want. Many smart people work their butts off, do all the right things, and then are passed over for promotion or just get tired of waiting around to move up, so they leave. Turnover of smart mid career people is huge because of this. I was there for 5+ years and not once did anyone ask me what my career goals/aspirations were.

Pros

The Pay and not much else

Cons

Expect to be spoken down to constantly by superiors as a norm, expect to see managers gloat about this and even enjoy it all the way up the ladder. The managers have absolutely no clue on how things run on even a basic level and most wing it and bodge where they can and will blame subordinates and take credit. There’s no communication and you have to rely on whispers and rumours to do your job. Very clicky and toxic culture. HR are not very helpful at all basically none existent so good luck if you’re being bullied or harassed. Managers will literally hide behind corners to catch people out and sneak and spy around people and have absolutely zero people/social skills. Quantity over quality everywhere in the business. You WILL NOT progress if you’re not part of The Click in your area or unless you have relatives or know somebody in a higher position who can pull you up. Managers will enjoy getting people sacked as a warning to other employees as to be feared to hopefully drive productivity and are even encouraged by superiors to try and put people into situations that will get them sacked (not a joke).

Pros

Good company car scheme, nothing else

Cons

Middle Management are the product of nepotism who feel they are entitled, many have no actual qualifications. The real talent is being suppressed in all departments from product development to manufacturing.
