Pros

Location is great. Engineering talent is top notch. Good work-life balance. Love the guest speakers that come by. Very social group.

Cons

Leadership is uninspiring. Difficult work culture with the worst combination of micromanagement and grassroots. Very silo oriented. Management does not value their employees. Emotional abuse and lack of trust is a common sight.

Pros

If you are a petrol head, maybe this is exciting for you.

Cons

Nothing ever gets done. Projects are over-analysed and die of analysis paralysis, under-delivery because of silo thinking where every team does their own thing anyway or because management make the wrong call because it feels safe. There is no learning, the same mistakes get made over and over again. IT department is the worst, there are literally no do-ers, only bucreaucrats and scribes who badly manage supplier and get taken advantage of by most of their suppliers. Massive waste of time working for them, simply no point.... Do get rid of dead wood in your IT department, and sack some of your useless (big) IT suppliers.

Pros

Exciting opportunity to be on the forefront of software technology in vehicles. Unique role that allows for both visual design and software development.

Cons

A linear assembly-line approach to developing software product. Unrealistic goals with unreasonable deadlines leave you feeling unproductive and constantly pressured. Long timelines (years) to see your work in production if ever. Uncompetitive pay compared to those in the tech sector.
