      Culture has improved last few years. Still more to do. Good benefits. Amazing work of you like the car business.

      Long hours. Too many cooks and no clear roles and responsibilities.

      Great startup-like environment using all the lates AWS kit

      Pros

      Lots of interesting greenfield projects using all of the latest AWS gear + good DevSecOps practices. You genuinely do get the 20% personal development time which is a great plus! People are all very friendly and it's quite a chilled work environment. If you like cars then its even better, you can literally take the vehicles out for testing and see your software working in action.

      Cons

      Pay is quite rigid after you join unless you get a promotion which can only happen when they have the budget so they come in phases. To negate this I would make sure you negotiate a starting salary you will be happy with for two or so years.

      your team can be fun

      You are unable to install or uninstall softwares meant for software development without the authority of a support team who has zero knowledge about most topics but only has proper rights to install stuff on your computer. This can take several days!!! Most peope you contact don't really want to work. It might take days until they answer and you are lucky if they actually want to help you. Lack of knowedge around software development and aiding tools.
