      Time of very fast growth, changes for the brand and new products

      Cons

      Very fast growth means some systems cannot cope with how fast things have changed and the company is gradually trying to replace legacy IT and infrastructure systems

      Pros

      Challenges, you're never bored or short of work. Variety, you won't do the same thing twice. You might do small variations depending on role. It's a successful, growing business. Opportunities arise regularly.

      Cons

      Workload is significant. In my team OT (paid & un-paid combined) is around 20%.

      Overall great company to work for, but little emphasis on lean manufacturing

      Pros

      When working on a launch in manufacturing or in pre-build planning stage, there is a good buzz about the place and had many days of feeling busy and satisfied with my work. Colleagues in manufacturing are down-to-earth and friendly. Foreign expansion in last 3-4 years means plenty of opportunity to progress both in UK and abroad. Finish at 12 on Fridays and paid overtime.

      Cons

      Poor advance planning, little emphasis on design for assembly although always hear about plans to address this. More difficult to move roles in manufacturing than product development. Rush to get the product through planning gateways while ignoring big issues. Parking on most sites is a nightmare.
