Most managers do nothing. My manager does absolutely nothing. Sorts out her personal life most of the time, has a chin wag, usually complaining of others talking too much. Ironic. Too many people paid too much to do sod all If you’re lucky enough to get a role that doesn’t require much brain power, then this is a good career break.

No structure or accountability. No support to learn role or improve but time available to be told it’s not right. Senior management act as though all that is needed to implement a change is a ‘yes’ from them and it all magically comes together. A workforce of the over stressed and stretched versus thumb twiddlers, unbelievably frustrating and stagnant.
