Pros

Well structured and defined job roles working with people that have a passion for the products they are manufacturing.

Cons

Political landscape within management. There are many managers who say a lot without much substance leaving engineers without support in many functions. Lack of accountability and quick to point the finger.

Workload spiralled out of control along with the cycle plan, which made doing a good job on all my projects more and more impossible.

Great work sites and facilities, good corporate benefits

Cons

Hard to leave work at work. Often make personal sacrifices for work. No departmental progression unless you are favoured by managers. So many managers are clueless.
