      Pros

      Great work life balance Above average benefits/ perks

      Cons

      Extremely complicated work process which makes it impossible to move forward sometimes. No ownership of projects/ products. Questions raised are never answered by the right team/ person. Manager wont care about your career development goal. When you ask how you can accelerate in the team, you get the answer of how you can contribute to another team?!! It's all about politics and flattery, they are keys for a promotion. No one cares about getting the job done the correct way. Company sells insurance, not software, so take it easy.

      It's not what you know it's who you know

      Pros

      There are none. People get promoted based on who they know and not how experienced or qualified they may be.

      Cons

      Incompetent managers who keep their jobs, promote their favourites, and ensure people who have substantial experience get stuck in a job position which is not commensurate with their talent.
