Pros

The feeling you get when helping clients achieve their goals. The way the team pull together to help each other out...because there's no other choice!

Cons

Everything else! The fact that you are forced to think of clients as numbers not people! Dishonest and disloyal human resources. Sweeping problems under the carpet and covering up mistakes. Making false promises to staff. Constantly changing targets and procedures.

Pros

Good salary and great team mates

Cons

Pressure, pressure, pressure. Performance driven through fear. No real concern for the unemployed. It's all about money and targets They have lost sight of Ingeus' initial vision. I can truly say, leaving was the best decision. When I finally left after 4 years it was like getting out of prison. Everyone in my team who worked there when I did has left, the majority this year. Anyone thinking of working here, don't. You will live to regret it.

Pros

Some of the other advisors are nice and know exactly how you feel

Cons

A shambles. This company is in meltdown. The managers have a nasty streak and it gets worse each week. Many advisors are now depressed and are extremely anxious to find another job. The lucky ones have already left. Managers have no intelligence. It seems that the senior managers have real contempt for their staff. Everyone can see how bad things are in this company yet no-one in management is prepared to acknowledge it. An open, honest and frank discussion is needed. The amount of staff, including management, that have left this company in the last year is unsustainable. The CEO of Providence needs to be informed of how badly this company is being run. A lot of the admin is just to pacify DWP and tick boxes. Clients are getting harder to place into sustainable employment.
