Pros

Numerous products to sell from many aquired companies. Decent base pay for the industry, could be better. Able to work out of a home office.

Cons

Micromanaging, too many reports not enough selling. left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. Lack of senior management communication with employees. Too many systems to obtain customer information, customer data not accurate, needs cleaned up. Too many layers of management. Unattainable quotas. Aging of products with no new enhancements being done. Company should realize that employees have a life outside of work and not schedule business related functions over the weekends or holidays.

Pros

none....other than having a job. The top management doesn't seem to value the rank and file development staff; everything appears to be geared towards the sales staff. If you don't have sufficient development staff, you soon lack a product to sell.

Cons

working at Infor Global, a very unstable place to work; not knowing whether you will have a job from one day to the next; constantly being told to do more with less, as more and more staff were cut

Pros

If you are good at just doing what they say and have no regard for consequences financially and do not need work life balance. They will hire people with no skills to fill the job as long as they no somebody there. So if you are comfortable being a good follower and need some place to be while you are completing an advanced degree then that is the place to be. You do not have to stretch yourself to get a paycheck there for getting ahead. Just to be able to survive the chaotic management style that they have in place.

Cons

No work life balance and per hour your pay would decrease. If you have any sense of right or wrong, or know or are not afraid to speak your mind, then this is not the place for you. Their goal is to pay you a little higher than market but make you work long hours so per hour you do not come out ahead. At some point in time, their bad due dilligence in realtionship to acquisitions will hurt them and the people responsible for the due dilligence are the ones that get promoted. Sounds like another Wall Street exec to me.
