      Pros

      The co-workers are very friendly. They work to get the projects accomplished.

      Cons

      The company doesn't show any preferential treatment to the most senior staff. In fact, just recently, several employees over 20 years tenure were laid off.

      Feels more like a bigger CRO environment

      Pros

      Depending on manager, you may be able to work independently without being micromanaged. Upper management appeared to try to stay in more of the day to day than at bigger CROs.

      Cons

      No transparency that allows some people to work less and make others pick up the slack. Although open to hearing out suggestions management seemed to be stuck in old ways.

      Work from home flexibility Unlimited vacation at certain management levels 15% Annual Bonus

      Cons

      All about dollars and cents. Willing to let quality employees go for the almighty dollar Inability to take vacation Lack of respect for time when you work from home Was employed during the merger and the merger created extra confusion Corporate processes are based on the clinical side of the house and hamper the non-clinical business with unneeded process. Loose job descriptions allow for a the company to completely re-write your job description. Large company with lots of process and people standing between you and promotion, Products have no strategic direction. Product Strategy is strictly driven by client dollars.
