Pros

Applicable to IT Engineering Dept only: - Great benefits package (life insurance, multiple cash allowances, hmo, 14th month pay and annual increase on April) - Most projects are exciting; Latest technologies are used - Salary is quite decent especially if you are a new hire - WP office in BGC has good ambiance. No permanent seat during hybrid mode but you get to use wide curved screen monitors. Workstations give you a lot of personal space. - Hybrid mode (for IT Engineering, we are only required to report at the office 2-3x a month as of Nov 2022) - Macbook Pro issued for prev hires. I think late 2022 hires are issued Windows laptops (HP / Dell afaik) - Good employee engagement. Many non-work activities and clubs to join. IT Engineering dept on its own also has good employee engagement. - New building (One Ayala Tower along Ayala Ave) has excellent location and seems to have great amenities and facilities. - Opportunities for international assignments (business trips or direct hire)

Cons

- Very little annual salary increase (5%-8%). Even the seniors who were recently promoted to Leads only received 5%-8% increase. - Little opportunity for career progression for Senior Engineers. You cannot be promoted as Squad Lead / Tech Lead unless there is an opening (and you still need to apply for the said roles) - 14th month salary is not guaranteed. May be removed in the coming years depending on ING's discretion - Lockers/bins not provided to employees hired during the pandemic

Pros

Nice and friendly colleagues to work with Great work-life balance with a laid-back culture A flat culture and less bureaucracies which is great

Cons

50% work in office policy. Upper management tracks how many days you'll be in the office Extreme lack of budget for projects- rely on budgets from the head office in Amsterdam Base pay is low compared to peers, no bonuses, no shares There are some incompetent managers around. Talk the talk, but don't walk the walk A lot of good employees left Zero training provided to upskill Old systems and processes

Pros

Decent pay for no qualifications. The trainers are really lovely and supportive. All other Pros listed are no longer present. Used to have a great culture. Hard work was rewarded/noticed and career progression was available.

Cons

Micromanaged. Extremely high turn over. Understaffed. Recent drop is culture has lead to experienced staff leaving. Contact centre is barely afloat with under experienced staff doing their best to keep up with growing demands. Due to drop in service levels, all training/coaching has ceased causing under experienced staff to continue to make mistakes leading to disciplinary action/higher stress. Zero benefits/partnerships.
