Pros

Benefits, Pay, Diverse Culture, Paid Lunches, Financing

Cons

Lack of training, favoritism, too many changes. They will find any reason to fire you if you are not liked. Be wary. There are people with criminal history working there as well as current drug usage. This is a huge reason why people are unable to move up in the company because the call center is full of people under the influence. Several managers drink on the job, smoke marijuana, take elongated breaks and don’t deal with escalations not to mention the atmosphere of everyone sleeping with one another to move up in company. I was fired because of occurrences due to my fiancé having a stroke and no one worked with me. I even reached out to the call center manager at the time & corporate. Nothing was done. However, there are people still working there that don’t deserve to. DO NOT RECOMMEND! This company is full of SNAKES!

Pros

- breaks every two hours - coworkers are AMAZING - HR department really supports you and takes sexual assault seriously - great medical benefits

Cons

- re-organization of U.S. IKEA's took away a lot of the expertise that employees had. Now you're expected to work in any department in the store - re-organization also sees IKEA need employees to have degrees to have the better jobs in the store (in sales, management, etc.) this is NOT necessary. I learned everything on the job and had stellar reviews, all without a degree.
