      Pros

      Interesting industry Good 401K match Global, many interesting people to interface with. Where else can a chemist have a product on the market in 3 yrs?

      Cons

      No formal career path inconsistent salaries Senior managment loves ROI and misses the point of innovation. Little support for implementation of novel chemical technologies: still replying on 1950's chemistry.

      Some of my co-workers are cool.

      Pay is low, qnnual raises are insultingly low, job levels assigned are not in line with education and experience, benefits are constantly cut, micromanagement, double standards, outdated procurement procedures, no room for advancement

      Pros

      The benefits are decent, co-workers are great. Close to home for me.

      Cons

      They have lowered their pay scale over the years by not giving decent or even any raise for years. They used to be the industry leaders now they are mediocre. Every time they take a benefit away they use the excuse, "industry standards". Most management hasn't co e up through the ranks so don't know the Fragrance business as well as most long term employees. They have closed ears to suggestions and experience.
