This company has a few problems, but generally OK

Pros

Good people, middle management (associates, discipline managers) very accessible and easy to get along with. Wide variety of projects. Flexible work hours. 3 weeks vacation to start, but it takes many years to get to 4 weeks.

Cons

Many directors (management partners) still trying to run it like a small company, often competing with other directors for work, and love to micro-manage, but only when it suits them. Almost every business decision requires directors approval, which can often slow down ability to react to client needs. Salaries are just on the borderline of being competitive, benefits are average. Training and personal development opportunities are few and far between.

Relaxed atmosphere, great co-workers to work along with, directors are easy to access and communicate with.

Cons

Possibly long hours are needed, which are project-based. But this could happen at any company really...

Variety of work...flexibility to choose how you want to do your work...3 weeks vacation to start...working a 37.5 hour week. If you have something you need to do on a given day, you can generally get permission to do it, and just make up the time later.

Cons

Work - personal life balance could be tough at times. More potential for professional growth and profit sharing would be nice.
