Pros
Health benefit options/cost plus hotel comp rooms and discounts are excellent. Love the fact that the Hyatt portfolio is constantly expanding to include many different brands and types of hotels internationally. So, as a company, you feel very secure that the company is making the right decisions and investments to grow the company.
Cons
Here's where Hyatt can do better...more diversity in leadership roles, especially at the corporate level. It still looks like the same, non-BIPOC leaders/directors/vp's, continue to lead and get promoted to the high profile properties or corporate gigs. My compensation was very low compared to other industries. Even though I got promoted several times throughout my career with Hyatt my promotional increases and annual increases were low and I left feeling that I wasn't paid what I felt I was worth.
