Pros

They did offer medical benefits which are not always an option. It is a high volume hotel if you are looking to gain experience.

Cons

Training was non existent for management level employees. They were without a GM and Director of Operations for such a long time that as a lower level management you had no one to learn from or ask questions. thankfully I had experience and could manage situations without guidance.

Pros

The Hyatt Place Brand is a quality brand

Cons

The long term strategy for Hyatt Place is to not manage properties and have 100% franchise. Not many people were promoted from the field to corporate positions - I only remember two people being promoted - one of which was fired during a leadership transition. Current person in charge of Hyatt Limited service came from a small company - this was his first role in a large company - he seemed to not have as much input as previous leadership.
