      Pros

      Very good company benefits, longevity of many employees, Fair pay in the industry

      Cons

      No true balance of work/life (although they say they care for others so they can be their best), no accountability of senior management, poor communication to staff from senior management

      Gilbert, AZ Does not hold Hyatt Place standards. Terrible management. Managers sexually harass staff. Can not keep staff or managers to save their life. Do not work here.

      Pros

      Benefits were very good, a lot of opportunity to learn, grow, and cross train. Employee events/pep rallies/etc a few times each year to keep the staff excited to be there. Pay is good in some departments but salaried managers vary widely in pay.

      Cons

      A TON of favoritism - you have to "play the game" to get ahead, it's definitely not based on merit or skills. General Manager is arrogant and self-involved, only takes time to speak to employees that he likes. There is a lot of manipulation within upper management and the employees get screwed over because of it. Communication in most departments is terrible, each department blames another department for shortcomings, there is no cohesive feel throughout the whole hotel.
