Pros

Had a great time working as a gallery host for hyatt place. Made a lot of connections by bartending and talking to guests.

Cons

Fun job that can really suck sometimes depending on your manager. Management at the woodlands location in houston is terrible. Do not work that one

Pros

Guests are very enjoyable to serve. Business hotels are nice. Lots of things to do.

Cons

Lots of expectations. Management expects you to take ownership on what you need to learn from the company. Too busy to remind you. Currently 3 different managers with 3 different ways to train staff. The telephone game is real; things you say are often miss translated.

Good company culture, managers are helpful and supportive, colleagues are friendly and helpful, working schedule is flexible, the communication between departments are effective and cooperative; food in cafeteria is free and good!!

Cons

working load at front office can be very stressful sometimes, average 200+ checkins & 200+ checkouts.
