They don’t train you properly , everything is rushed and they don’t care about their members. Some of the management is racist so if you’re a POC good luck being respected and talked to like a human being. During training questions are called "interruptions" . They want to see you fail… management sucks and the trainer just reads from a PowerPoint that she supposedly can’t show the class because it has notes for dummies marked on it. I lost so much respect for Humana and will NEVER recommend this insurance to anybody nor tell people to apply here. This company took a huge toll on my mental health and it’s really unfair how they played us. My training class went from 26 people to 4 people in 6 weeks. Stay away and find another healthcare insurance company that values the employees and actually trains them.

Be prepared to be shut down and silenced if you have ideas that could improve business, provider, and member outcomes. Stay in your lane with blinders on if you plan on staying there any length of time. If you love micromanagement, suppression, monotony, and having to ensure you click and engage the computer every 59 seconds during the work day....this is the place for you. Performance is measured by computer time not outcomes and impacts made by provider relationship and member support.
