      It is a great place to learn but don't expect any growth in salary or career any time soon.

      Pros

      * Good place to advance your technical knowledge. Especially for someone who is just starting out their career * Large global and leading telecoms company in the world. Experience with Huawei will improve job prospects * Overtime paid to engineers

      Cons

      * Chinese hand everywhere even when the work can be done competently by local hire * There is 1+1 sort of unwritten rule in the company. It means for every local, there is a Chinese * Not much opportunity for growth fast * Salary raise is almost non-existent * New projects get ineveitably managed by Chinese even if locals can do it

      Pros

      The company is new to the U.S. market. There is a learning curve, as well as having to create a new business from the ground up. It's very much like a start-up even though the company is very large globally. I personally like it and find that there are many opportunities. However, if you like a job that is very structured with 9=5 hours, this isn't the place for you.

      Cons

      There are many Chinese at the office that come over from headquarters. Sometimes the communication barrier can be a little tough but overall it's not bad.
