Hotelbeds: A Sinking Ship

Pros

If you can survive the pressure of Hotelbeds, you can survive anywhere. M&A with GTA/Tourico has truly filtered the strongest people from a mass talent mix. I'd say this is a great opportunity for a fresh graduate to join but not for any others who are willing to find stability.

Cons

Management is a complete mess, and your managers are 90% of the time not there to support you. They are also fighting for their own job securities, and the pressure really gets the best and the worst of people. Pay is lower than industry average, and perks are more or less unavailable except for the half day Friday gig. Lastly, YM/CM pairing is definitely one of the worst tactics when it comes to sourcing.

Offers benefits- medical, dental, vision, 401k, 3 weeks accrued PTO first year (increases each year).

Cons

Low pay, poor company culture, poorly designed teams that are mostly incompetent at their jobs.

Ambiguous protocol and management

Pros

Well work life balance with great colleagues.

Cons

-No precise protocol to avoid internal confusion wasting the time to provide the solutions to the clients which leads to lose the trust to partners and clients. -Manager always focus on petty issues instead of focusing on main responsibilities of the department and should perform as a supporter instead of troublemaker. No manager in the world know the process less than ordinary agent. -Poor facility. They cannot provide a desk or working space for a large number of employees and they are poor enough to be incapable of providing two computer screens or office equipment. -No bonus apply if you plan to resign during bonus period. -Do not expect a good career path if you do not desire to work as sales person
