Cons

its lonely job as you are just working against yourself for your own target. there is no team work, there is no strategy thinking. its very sale oriented job based on phones and emails.

Awful management, toxic atmosphere

Pros

Meet a lot of people from different backgrounds and cultures

Cons

Unprofessional organisation, too many managers and supervisors with lack of drive, enjoy their salaries without working a day in their lives, you'll see them laughing and chatting together having their coffees and snacks all day whislt agents are carrying all the stress. A big problem here is that it will not matter how good you are at what you do or what you are capable of, unless you are friends or family of management you will not advance, all the jobs are given based on who you know, unfortunately this leads the the majority of the employees in charge of organisation and company progress being utterly useless and idle. This is affecting the company's trajectory and it has gone from a profit multiplying company to a sinking ship as the majority of management lacks the intelligence and drive required for their job, the environment has become toxic as these people do not work but expect a wage , resulting in the exploitation of lower paid agents as they must cover excessive workloads generated by poor organisation by management. You will be expected to sit in front of a computer screen for hours on end without a break, this is a health risk however as the job is considered a travel agency rather than a office job, agents end up spending anywhere from 2-6 hours at a time in front of a computer screen without permission to take a break and rest your eyes.it is the first company I've ever worked for in which you must ask permission to go to the toilet . The majority of higher roles in the customer relationship centre are unable to speak English properly, and in an international market, this is essential.
