Pros

This was once a GREAT company to work for.The current mgmt are clowns and have lost their way It

Cons

The current mgmt team have this ship sinking. The transition is just a bunch of smoke and new org charts. The mgmt team are more concerned with micro mgmt of their sales force than they are about customer satisfaction.

Pros

- Have multiple site locations and development centers. - Hitachi brand name has some weight in the market

Cons

The newly installed leadership is fairly disconnected with actual product development and most of the new product development leadership has been imported from GE digital (a sinking ship, seems like Hitachi Vantara is serving as a landing pad for all the executives who contributed to GE Digital's failure). With recent shift away from IoT by the company there does not seem any innovative initiatives are being taken up by the company. Just trying to stay afloat by selling existing products like Pentaho, content and storage. I fear the struggles with continue in the years to come despite the long and fruite transformation exercise the company recently went through.
