Hitachi Vantara reviews

HR and payroll handling is a disaster since HDS+PEntaho turned into Hitachi Vantara end of 2017. Coming from the the smaller company that got integrated into Vantara (and living in a country where they have a smaller presence), I had to live for 6 months without salary simply because the company couldn't get the admin right. Unfortunately I wasn't an exception. Several other colleagues had months of delays in payments too. Threats to leave (up to Vice President level) finally made some payments come through. Obviously, I eventually left the company (days ago). I'm still chasing 3 months of salary which I start to doubt I'll ever see. In all of my career, and after over 7 years with the company, an absurt and totally Kafkian experience. I cannot understand how they can even keep staff if they treat their people with so little respect.

No work life balance. Too much of work, that you don’t have weekends for yourself. good work goes to who is good with management. As the management got tons of laid off people from his old company. He is always biased to his old employees. He listens to them and switches off others. Too much micromanaging, back talking, be sweet with you and talk at your back. Keep asking how is your work from others, behind your back. They start with negative impressions which will never turn positive. They compare 5 year experienced person with 15 years experienced person coz this 15 yrs experience person is his old employee. The perception changes based on what that one wrong guy is telling the management good things goes waste. Also the management tries to prove that they are right and his manager is wrong. This is quite funny he blames cto and the VP behind their back with us. And once they are here this management is behind them doing what they say with reverence.
