Pros

great company with great reputation, ability to move around if you want

the home training is ridiculous!!! the modules are WAY to o many too much information stuffing makes it hard for the agent to maintain what is important!! The PAY SUCKS!!! 9.00 an hour with the POSSIBILITY of incentives is not enough for all you have to remember whether it is work from home or not. When during the interview it should be emphasized the extra monies that could be made per reservation is based solely on "metrics" and it is NOT a definite 1.00 or more! Pay like that from such a well-known company is actually a little pitiful

Pros

I have worked with some incredibly smart people. They want you to learn and grow and stretch yourself. Most people are genuine, caring and want to help you succeed. I can work from home on occasion which is nice. They are always celebrating something and do recognize Team Members. The benefits are on par with what other companies offer. GoHilton is a great perk. I've been able to network and meet a variety of people and develop nice relationships. The culture of the company is very good.

Cons

It is not what you know but who you know and those with connections move ahead. Those without are left behind. They ask you to take on stretch assignments but everyone is already running so lean. The workload is brutal. They will not add resources but will ask you to do more with less. Work/life balance is nice in theory but not in reality. I've run across a number of people who should have never been promoted and are in way over their heads. A lot of young managers/directors should not be leading teams and managing people because they are not good leaders. There are so many inefficient processes. Pay is way below other industries.
