Pros

Great benefits and schedule options. PTO Paid sick time Life and health insurance benefits Flexible schedule options Hilton takes the advice and opinions of employees seriously. They don’t micromanage and they trust you to do your job while giving positive encouragement and incentives. This makes for a great work environment. The employee hotel discounts are also amazing.

Cons

None personally, but you need to be extremely focused and guest oriented and be able to recharge quickly to handle different situations. Busy times can be stressful, must love helping others and have lots of patience. It can be back to back calls most of the time. Benefits package is terrific but hourly compensation could be higher.

Pros

Hotel benefits if they are available

Cons

Long hours. Expect to work 50-60 per week during normal and 80-100 during budget (which is 5 months out of the year). No promotion aspect. You have to interview for promotion.

Pros

Discount stays available at most hotels

Cons

Company and team goals are not clear or easily measurable, a lot of team members more interested in 'making their own mark' or hearing their own voice, rather than working on a team. Middle management constantly points out things done wrong, very seldom acknowledges wins or positive contributions. Feels like a malicious culture is encouraged. Upper management does not engage or make themselves accessible except to their own peers. There is also a sense of being looked down upon. Hilton is also a huge company, so it's easy to feel lost in a big corporate machine with indistinguishable layers of seniority.
