      Great benefits but just a number.

      Pros

      Great insurance, travel benefits, ect. If you are with company long enough you will get promoted based on that.

      Cons

      Not a lot of room to run operations of your department. All decisions managers typically are allowed to make are passed down from the top of the chain of command leaving no room you to act as a manager.

      Hilton cares. I know that's hard to believe with almost 4,000 hotels, each with hundreds of employees working to keep it running, but Hilton really does care. And the benefits are awesome! It doesn't matter if you are a part-time dishwasher or the Hotel Manager, you get benefits: corporate discounts, better room rates, $ towards your 401k, paid time off, etc etc etc. The people that work at Hilton, for the most part, are amazing and want to see a smile on your face! I am just a hostess at the restaurant inside the hotel, but I feel comfortable hanging out with the housekeepers as well as the Department heads-- everyone gets along because everyone has the same mission: keep the guests happy. Hilton is actually my 2nd job, but I never feel anything but excited when I go to work

      Cons

      It is a big corporation, so, as much as everyone gets along, their main focus is the department they work in.
