Pros

I love meeting and greeting new and different everyday

Cons

Its the first Point of Contact and information shared to guests needs to be accurate and correct. Misleading or incorrect information can really cause a lot chaos to the guests trip.

Pros

Staff discounts on all company hotels under Hilton Brand (depending on availability). Example: Curio Hilton in Ibiza is usually £500 per night you can get it done £35. Can be lots of job opportunities if you’re looking to climb up the ladder. Can transfer move abroad to work as it’s a multinational brand. Meet lots of people from different backgrounds and nationalities. Management will teach you things, if you ask, to help you get comfortable and make transitioning to a higher position easier. Staff in all departments are lovely, more like a family away from home than colleagues.

Cons

Sometimes hotel will overspend on hours meaning you’ll get less hours than you’re contracted a month. Apparently only allowed to have 1 weekend off a month but you’ll be lucky if you get that. Can work up to 8/9 days in a row without a day off (not always, usually if lots of people are on holiday) Unsocialable hours (( Pros definitely outweigh the cons ))
