Pros

If you like pizza they give free lunch once in a while

Cons

Workload is too much to handle for the amount you are being paid. Managers don't care after the entire team tells them they are struggling. Need a degree to become a customer service manager even if you have years and years of experience. Worried about being in the office one day a week when people are struggling to get work completed and have to stay on way past their shift and sometimes log in later on at night.

Pros

Great company culture. Everyone is kind, respectful, and professional.

Cons

1. Henkel pays less than its peers. 2. Moving up is really hard once you've reached the senior manager level because there rarely are any openings at director and above levels; when there are such openings, they often get snatched up by European expats from HQ coming to the U.S. to gain experience. The best way to move up is by doing expat assignments outside the U.S. However, U.S. expats are considerable more expensive (especially when they have children) for the company than those from other regions. So, expat assignments to Europe are almost impossible to get. They will give you a local contract if you're open to it, but you will have to accept a significant pay cut (up to even 40%) because European wages are much lower. It is much cheaper to send expats from Europe to the U.S. than the other way around, reason why you will notice quite a few Germans taking up local senior positions, forcing U.S. employees to look elsewhere for growth opportunities.
