Pros

-Good training -Great exposure to oil and gas -Pay is good for entry level engineering role compared to other industries.

Cons

-Long hours (this is the norm for oil and gas). -Extreme micromanagement. -Pay lower than other service companies. -Promotions are based on who you know and not what you know (you will thrive here if you know how to play the office politics game correctly). -If you're looking for a management team that will show true leadership and mentorship, this is not the place for you.

Terrible Company

Pros

Can't think of much..Money is not as much as compared to the labor and with respect to other companies

Cons

It's a really terrible company to work for. there is too much nepotism on the part of the managers at the houston sperry. You are easily disposed off like trash whenever there's a slight sign that oil prices might go down. It's not a place to build a career. Just find something else!!
